Every time we build a typical house a small mountain of garbage is created, but what if we could both minimize the waste and build homes that would last for 100's of years. And what if those homes were so beautiful they would be valued and cared for by future generations. Ancient Futures is about building to last.

Chris had the privilege of being born and raised in the virgin wilderness of Alaska and learned to appreciate that nature is above and beyond trends.
"To a great degree, trends are the mindset of an industrialized world where we must keep buying things that soon become garbage."
So, building homes that last for generations and are valued by generations far into the future is one of the very best things you can do for your planet.
Basically we've lost the vision of building anything to last and bought into the idea that we must keep buying, wearing and building consumables.

Chris' early training in super yacht fit out and then later in designing their interiors allowed him to experience the extremes of excellence, but then to use that excellence at every level and in each home.
With over fifty homes completed around New Zealand and the South Pacific we have both the experience and skills to bring every aspect of a project to completion.
And we've built up an extensive network with exclusive materials and skilled people around New Zealand and other Countries to create all the detailing and fitting out.
And we recently established a unit in Vietnam where we source some of the finest timber, stone and metalwork and the best price points.
Looking after each aspect down to the small details is the key to our complete, holistic design.
At the beginning we create visualizations which allow you to get the feel and interact intuitively with your home and give us valuable feedback to fine tune the design.
Throughout the build we're making the most of our international resourcing to supply the best products during build.
And we're there at the end to ensure completion of the project reaches the standard of the initial vision.
